Excel and Word docs opening to white loading page
Our take
Hello! If you’ve recently encountered a white loading screen when trying to open Excel or Word documents on your older Mac laptop through Google Chrome, you’re not alone. Many users are facing this frustrating issue, especially when their PCs load these applications without a hitch. While it seems to be a problem specific to your Mac setup rather than a document or internet error, it’s essential to find a solution.
Hello!
In the last couple of days when I try to open Excel or a Word doc on my Mac laptop through Google Chrome (my latop is too old to download the actual apps), the page opens to a white screen that says "Excel" in the corner and has a text box. My PC computer loads it fine so it's not a document or internet error, but I can't get any Office files to load on my main computer anymore. Has anyone had a similar issue? :(

- White/blank excel document when opening a onedrive attachement from Outlook (app)Hey, does anyone else have a problem where, when opening an attachment shared from OneDrive- directly from the outlook native app - a blank, read-only excel document appears? When I select Open -> Shared -> Recent, everything works fine. What I did that didn't help: - reinstall Office; - internet options -> security -> trusted websites -> added sharepoint address; - trust Center -> Protected View -> Enable Protected View for... (3 options unchecked) (unsafe) - added sharepoint adress to trust center -> safe locations (Allow trusted locations on my network (not recommended)) submitted by /u/Acrobatic_Kiwi2999 [link] [comments]
