Excel keeps plotting my Y-axis on the right side instead of left

Our take

If you're facing the challenge of Excel plotting your Y-axis on the right side instead of the left, you're not alone. This issue can be frustrating, especially when you need tick marks on the values, and adjusting the label positioning doesn't seem to resolve it. While the values may not be in reverse order, Excel's default settings can sometimes lead to unexpected outcomes. Let's explore how to regain control over your axis placement and ensure your data visualization meets your expectations.

Hi, excel keeps plotting this y axis on the right side instead of the left. I know I can change the label positioning but it doesnt work as I need tick marks on the values. Values are not in reverse order either, I don't know why excel keeps defaulting to put it on the right side instead of the usual left side.
