Excel tally table using formulas
Our take
Welcome, Akhilios! It’s great to see your enthusiasm for mastering Excel. Creating a tally table to track your university assessments is a smart move. To count submissions categorized as early, on-time, or late based on your criteria, you'll want to use a combination of the `COUNTIFS` function. This function can help you assess the conditions in Columns K and I against Column G effectively. Let’s simplify your approach to ensure accurate tallies without errors. We're here to support your Excel journey!
Hi All, quite new here and still learning Excel.
Im trying to set up a Table to keep track of all my university assessments and tests due this year.
Im trying to create a tally table that will count all the tests/assignments that are submitted early, the ones that are submitted on time, and the ones submitted late.
I want the the tally to be determined if Column K says "SUBMITTED", and if the date in Column I is before the date in Column G.
Ive tried several different fomulas but it keeps returning an array, not tallying correctly or counting blank spaces.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
