Hello! I'm hoping someone can help me or maybe even point me in the right direction. At work we have an excel file that has tons of formulas, data, as well as pivots but seems to be getting to the point of crashing often and taking a while to open the file does anyone have any tips on how to scale it back down to where it's manageable?

- Online spreadsheet stuck on loading screenI've been making a budget tracker for myself using Excel online. I've spent quite a bit of time setting it up, I've tried to add a couple charts to visualise the data but as soon as ive selected an entire column as a data source (it only has 10 values in it so far) it crashes the entire spreadsheet and it gets stuck infinitely loading. This is now the third time I've had to recreate it from scratch due to issues around charts. Is there any way I can get it to load or do I just need to give up using excel. submitted by /u/GhostDog_1314 [link] [comments]
- Sheet is too big, laptop keeps crashingI am working on my work laptop. I'm dealing with a 300,000 line sheet. The formulas were making it crash so I copy and 123pasted to try and make it work. But it's still too big, I can't scroll down without it crashing. Any advice? submitted by /u/tr0028 [link] [comments]
- Excel file crashes when checking a segment's boxHello everyone, I'm on excel 2016 and I have an excel workbook with a database of around 2000 rows and 20 columns, 4 tables extracted with PQ each one in a sheet, 7 or 8 pivot tables referencing these queries with the same number of graphs. Sometimes (not every time) the file crashes and reloads itself when I click on a button on a segment and it's frustrating. What could cause that and how can I improve my file? submitted by /u/fluctuatore [link] [comments]
