Getting my Excel view to look like the tutorials.

Our take

To enhance your Excel experience and align it with the tutorials you've encountered, it’s important to customize your view effectively. It appears you’re using Excel Version 16.107.4 on a MacBook Air, and you're missing the "File" menu tab that is typically found on the left end of the top menu. This guide will walk you through the steps to make that tab visible, allowing you to access essential features and streamline your workflow.

Hi. I hope you're in fine fettle today.

I am using Excel Version 16.107.4 on a MacBook Air running on OS Sequoia 15.6.1.

I'm trying to customize Excel a little. The tutorials I've tried on YouTube show top menus thus:

Note the "File" menu tab at the left end of the tabs. My screen doesn't have that. It looks like

How do I get the "File" menu tab to appear?
