I'm having trouble with reinstallation - specifics below

Our take

It sounds like you're facing a frustrating situation with the reinstallation of Microsoft Office 365. Transitioning from a 32-bit version to a 64-bit one should be straightforward, but technical issues can complicate the process. Your experience of being redirected to Copilot and encountering account sign-in problems is understandably discouraging. To resolve this, let's explore the steps you can take to successfully download the 64-bit version. We'll work together to overcome these hurdles and get you back on track with your Office applications.

I had a 32-bit version, and I need 64. As ridiculous as this might seem, I haven't been able to reinstall it so far, so I'm turning to you for advice.

As far as I understand, the standard way for an average Joe is to go to Microsoft 365 website, subscribe, or sign in with their account connected to a licence and download it from there. My situation is the following:

* Microsoft Office 365 site keeps redirecting to Copilot.

* Microsoft Store keeps asking to be signed to another account right after I sign to one.

* Applications under My account show only Skype to be available for installation.

I stopped asking what was going on a while ago. I just need a 64-bit download.
