Is there any way to convert a WEEKNUM for the tax year?
Our take
Navigating the nuances of the WEEKNUM formula can be challenging, especially when aligning it with the tax year running from April to March. By default, WEEKNUM begins its count in January, which may not suit your needs. Fortunately, there are strategies to adapt this formula for your tax year. You can either modify the existing formula or create a new one in a separate cell to account for the additional weeks between January and April. Let’s explore how to achieve this seamlessly.
By default, the WEEKNUM formula starts the count in the first week of Jan, but most of the things I work on use the April to March tax year, not Jan to Dec calendar year. Is there anyway to change this, or do I have to create a formula in another cell to convert one to the other, perhaps by adding/subtracting the additional number of weeks between Jan and Apr?
