Matchmaking On Excel Through Form Answers

Our take

Creating a matchmaking algorithm in Excel using responses from a Google Form is not only possible but can also be a rewarding project. By analyzing the answers, you can identify overlapping responses to pair participants effectively, much like a dating match. This approach allows for a nuanced understanding of preferences and compatibility. In this guide, we'll explore the steps to implement this algorithm, making the process accessible and manageable, regardless of your Excel experience.

Hello,

It's been a while since I did anything Excel related, but I'm trying to make a matchmaking sort of algorithm based on responds from a Google form. Basically people answer questions on the form and I try to pair them to the best of my abilities — based on their closest overlapping answer. Almost like a dating match I guess 😅

Is this possible, and how?

Thank you
