Need formula to be just the number

Our take

If you're struggling to display only the numerical result instead of the formula in Excel, you're not alone. This common challenge can be frustrating, especially for those new to the program. To resolve this, you can try using the "Copy and Paste Special" feature to paste values only. Simply select the cell with the formula, copy it, right-click the destination cell, and choose "Paste Special," then select "Values." This will replace the formula with the calculated number, simplifying your spreadsheet and enhancing your productivity.

I can't seem to get the formula to go away and just be the answer. I have tried copying and pasting with special values, but that also did not work. I am new to Excel and do not fully understand it.
