Use a cross reference website to return results

Our take

Are you looking to enhance your Excel experience by creating a master data table that links part numbers with their equivalents? If you're using Excel in Office 2024 LTCS Pro Plus, you might be wondering if it's possible to scrape data from the web directly into your spreadsheet. Specifically, you want to explore how to extract information, such as transforming part number BF988 into its corresponding equivalent P553004. Let’s dive into this innovative approach and see how you can streamline your data management effectively!

Hi all, need a bit of help about whether this can even be done. (Im using Excel in Office 2024 LTCS Pro Plus)

Im trying to create a master data table for work, where part numbers for items we sell are displayed alongside their respective equivalents.

I currently have my spreadsheet set like this: https://imgur.com/a/NvI9IZO

Is there a way to have excel scrape the web using sites like this: https://imgur.com/a/5UharO4 and return its answer?

For example, I have a part number BF988. Excel then scrapes the allocated website and returns a result, like P553004.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
