why does conditional formatting color cells that there values are out of the range?

why is numbers between 5% and 10% being coloredd?, i made a role saying numbers above 10% or lower than -10% be red and numbers between -5% and +5% are green, no rules for 5%-10%, why are they getting colored?

- Negatives in Red in a "Format as Table"I have a document that I have used "Format as Table" so each row is a different color. I want to make it so that when a number is negative, it turns red. I thought I was able to do that with conditional formatting, but I just now realized it makes the background of all the cells white, even those in the row that is colored. Any way to fix this? I already tried formatting the cells using the number format "0.00%;[Red]-0.00%", but still having the same issue. Any ideas on how to get this to work the way I want it to? I really want don't want to have to manually format as a table (different color every other row). - How to make conditional formatting exclude blank cellsMaking a working hours chart but I'm not very well versed in many Excel functions so I've been consulting google results for most, but I don't understand why conditional formatting is marking blank cells green for value >0. The detailed issue is as follows: I have columns for for date (C), start time (D), end time (E), and the following (using row 5 for example): Total time F5 =IF(D5;E5-D5;"") Number format: Time Overtime: G5 =IF(OR(F40="";TIME(8;;)="");"";(F40-TIME(8;;))*24) Number format: General I have set up conditional formatting in column G to color everything that is below 0 red, everything above 0 green, but all the blank cells with above formula applied are colored green too. Cells that equal 0 are left without color, as I intended. My hope is that blank cells also remain white until they recieve a value. Is there a way to achieve that?
