11 Days in Italy - Looking for feedback/suggestions

My wife and I are planning our first trip to Italy and would really appreciate any feedback. We’re trying to strike a good balance between seeing the major highlights and not overpacking every day, but it’s hard to tell what’s realistic without having been before.

We’re especially looking for input on whether there’s anything we should cut or add, whether that’s must-see experiences we’re missing or things that might not be worth the time. Also open to any advice on pacing if certain days feel too busy or not busy enough.

One thing to note: we know that going Rome → Florence → Naples isn’t the most efficient route since it involves a bit of backtracking. We ended up structuring it this way because the flight options into Rome and out of Naples worked much better for us overall, so we prioritized that over the ideal travel flow.

Any tips, suggestions, or things you wish you knew before your first trip would be hugely appreciated!
