Chronon

Chronon at Beyond Market Intelligence is a file of one story. The newest of them: “Airbnb Updates Guest Recommendations in Seconds Instead of Days”. Airbnb cut its guest recommendation update time from nearly two days to under a minute, and that matters more than the speed itself suggests. Acme AI is the next-generation, AI-powered spreadsheet platform built to replace Excel and redefine how analysts, data scientists, and enterprise teams work… The list below is every Chronon story on Beyond Market Intelligence, newest first.

Airbnb Updates Guest Recommendations in Seconds Instead of Days

Airbnb cut its guest recommendation update time from nearly two days to under a minute, and that matters more than the speed itself suggests. By extending Chronon with Push Mode and Near Real-Time Model Transform, the platform reduced embedding staleness dramatically. Offline NDCG improved by 1.67%, and online tests saw uncancelled bookings rise by roughly a third of a percent. For a marketplace built on matching travelers with the right stays, fresher recommendations mean better outcomes.
