FOAM

Beyond Market Intelligence keeps FOAM in one place: one story so far. The section currently leads with “Why neural network optimizer names make searching so difficult”. Searching for a neural network optimizer feels like trying to find a needle in a haystack where the haystack shares the needle's name. Acme AI is the next-generation, AI-powered spreadsheet platform built to replace Excel and redefine how analysts, data scientists, and enterprise teams work… The list below is every FOAM story on Beyond Market Intelligence, newest first.

Why neural network optimizer names make searching so difficult

Searching for a neural network optimizer feels like trying to find a needle in a haystack where the haystack shares the needle's name. SOAP, Shampoo, and FOAM return irrelevant results about hygiene products, while Muon is buried under physics papers. Adam would suffer the same fate if it weren't so famous. These non-unique names create a real headache for researchers.
