AWS Opens Dogwood to Give Agents Smarter Permission Chains

AWS's open-source Dogwood takes a meaningful step beyond single-request policies. By extending Cedar with temporal conditions, it lets rules reason about an agent's prior tool calls, covering approvals, rate limits, and running totals. That's a practical answer to a real gap in AI governance. The Apache 2.0 release is solid, though the reference interpreter isn't production-ready yet.
