Cloudflare and VoidZero ship an AI-generated Rust port of TypeScript at 8x speed

Cloudflare, VoidZero, and Max Schwenk have shipped tsrs, an experimental Rust port of the TypeScript compiler that claims up to 8x faster checking with 70% less memory than TypeScript 7.0. That's a meaningful leap, though one test against the 7.1 beta showed a still-impressive 2.7x speedup. The trade-off is real: no watch mode, no language server, and it exits with code 2 on type errors.
