Built a web app to suggest better options than pie charts, what other dataviz rules should I build in?
Our take
Introducing a web app designed to enhance your data visualization experience by offering superior alternatives to pie charts. Simply input your data, and the app analyzes key factors like the number of options and value ranges to recommend more effective visualizations such as donut charts, bar graphs, or tree maps. This tool empowers users to make informed choices about their data representation. We invite suggestions for additional rules or chart types to incorporate, helping you transform your data into compelling visual narratives.
Built this simple web app where you input the data you would have put in a pie chart and the app uses simple rules (number of options, range in values) to suggest better options (donut, bar, tree map).
Would love suggestions or guides for other rules/chart types I should add.
