Can I make a sum of multiple spreadsheets used for keeping track of points?
Our take
Are you passionate about Formula 1 and tracking points through spreadsheets? If you've created separate sheets for the actual standings, reserve, and qualifying tables, you might find it challenging to sum points across these multiple spreadsheets, especially since drivers and teams shift positions based on their scores. This guide will help you explore innovative solutions to consolidate your data effectively, ensuring that you can maintain an accurate combined standings table. Let’s dive into how to streamline your F1 point tracking experience.
I am a big nerd in F1 and like to keep track of the points in a spreadsheet. Not only do I make one to replicate the actual points standings, but I do a reserve and a qualifying table. This year, I was wanting to make a combined standings from all the points. The normal sum feature does not work because the drivers/teams move rows depending on the amount of points they have scored so far in the season. I have not found a video on youtube that solves the problem I have. I will attach a screenshot of the spreadsheets so you can know what they look like.
Thank you in advance for anyone who attempts to help me :)

- join content from cells in a column without losing content from the corresponding columns.basically how do i make the highlighted screenshot look like the unhighlighted one but with a function for a spreadsheet with like 170k rows. sorry that this is in sheets. im trying to figure out if what i need is to buy excel basically what i want is to condense duplicative info while listing/joining the different pieces, all controlled for case number. https://preview.redd.it/4rfjrucnjdzg1.png?width=1408&format=png&auto=webp&s=ff424cf0a8553fe30b769986169901c1ca25a3bd https://preview.redd.it/c8mtq58ojdzg1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=21ccbdfd8ae8d41eb2d69368e62163df3737088b submitted by /u/Abi-Ankeney-PMM [link] [comments]

- Totaling responses from a field? This is a pretty beginner question I think but my brain is fried today. I have a spreadsheet with 3 columns. The first two I don't need at all. The last one is the filled with answers to "How did you find us" on our checkout page. I want to make a graph or pie chart that totals all the answers and shows the most common responses by percentages or count. The column's data has several pre-filled answers they can select, but they can also write their own so there's tons of custom responses. I don't have a way to reformat it so each response is in it's own column which I think is what I need to do to properly display it? Any help would be great! submitted by /u/fullofpaint [link] [comments]
- Excel seems to think cell isn't big enough so 2 digit number looks crazy, no adjustment fixes issueI have multiple sheets that add together to make a total on the first page. Easy. The numbers are small - 3, 5, 10, nothing big. On the totals sheet, all the two digit sums are wrapped so that they are very small. I do not have wrapped text on but when I DO wrap the text, it stops wrapping them BUT there's this giant space between the two digits like "1 0" for 10. I tried everything I could think of - rewriting the formula as a SUM function (rather than this sheet + this sheet + this sheet), making sure each cell is formatted as a number, running "text to column" on each column of data, switching the font, switching the font size, changing the column size manually, double clicking on the columns to have them auto size, turning off shrink to fit, turning on shrink to fit again after, playing with the alignment.... Does anyone know what is going on and how I can solve it? Adding images (w/ some edits for privacy for my company). Will include the formulas (both versions). https://preview.redd.it/6n05pqeer4og1.png?width=1654&format=png&auto=webp&s=64729e1558bfba595d7d043b18d777b3e33e4ecf https://preview.redd.it/ydydstbfr4og1.png?width=1664&format=png&auto=webp&s=27e3d7cd18c2c380a5cf1a48853060a4bcd17c7c https://preview.redd.it/7dcraf9gr4og1.png?width=1106&format=png&auto=webp&s=4c93c635fbc20762a18cc8e137b6a40ee37c470e submitted by /u/catincombatboots [link] [comments]
