Copy and paste in filtered sheet

Our take

Hello! It sounds like you’re facing a common challenge when working with filtered Excel sheets. When attempting to copy and paste values while ignoring hidden rows, standard methods can often fall short. Instead of manually copying smaller sets, consider using a simple yet effective approach: select visible cells only, then copy and paste to a new location. This method ensures that you’re working with just the data you need, streamlining your inventory update process. Let’s explore this solution together!

Hello!

I have a heavily filtered excel sheet with hidden rows that I do a Vlookup in to update inventory. I want to replace the formula with just value. When I go to copy and paste it won’t allow it due to the hidden cells. I’ve tried find&select visible cells and many other shortcuts but nothing has worked besides manually copying and pasting each small set of rows. Does anyone have a trick?
