Our take
Building detailed financial models for stock projections can consume your weekends, leaving you overwhelmed and frustrated. While it's crucial to analyze data before making long-term investments, spending hours on Google Sheets for each stock is simply unsustainable. As market conditions shift rapidly, you may find that your models become outdated before you complete them. Many serious retail investors face this challenge and seek efficient solutions that balance thorough analysis with time management. Discover how others are navigating this dilemma without sacrificing their weekends.
I try to build proper financial models before taking long-term positions, but spending 8 hours per stock on Google Sheets projections is unsustainable and is taking a lot of my time. How are other serious retail investors handling this?
