I want to separate rows of numbers and lines of sentences in one column into separate columns.

Our take

If you have a column containing alternating timestamps and sentences, separating them into distinct columns can streamline your data organization. In Column A, timestamps are positioned in the odd-numbered rows, while sentences occupy the even-numbered rows. To enhance clarity and accessibility, you'll want to move the timestamps into one column and the corresponding sentences into another. This transformation not only simplifies your data but also empowers you to analyze and manage information more effectively. Explore this simple yet effective solution to optimize your spreadsheet layout.

In column A, the first row contains a time stamp, and the second row contains a sentence. Column A continues in this way, with time stamps in odd-numbered rows and sentences in even-numbered rows. I want to move the time stamps (in odd-numbered rows) to a separate column and the sentences (in even-numbered rows) to another separate column.
