What formula is best for a sum of time tracked with drop down categories of where time is spent?

I am wanting to do a two week time management tracking for personal use in order to manage my time better. The table to the right is the table I am using in my data validation drop down under Categories.
What I want it to show me is a sum of time tracked for each category but I can't seem to figure it out. The formula I have in the current Time Tracked Table to the right is shown in the formula bar.
I think I am close to getting it to do what I want it to do, but can't find that missing step.

- Countif or sumif when adding from a selection of a drop down and the range is in a different columnHi Reddit, I have a column for drop-down selection for machines and another one for time keeping. I'm trying to map out how long each machine is down for and use a pivot chart to make it visual. Any combinations of formulas I come up with come up broken. - Proper maintenance of game activity tableI'm part of a team of a rather small hobby game that we've been running for many years now. We've been running simple activity summaries in hours spent like this monthly, ever since beginning in April 2017. They simply go like this: GM Matt - 65.7h M Aiden - 54.3h K Hawk - 32.1h K Tell - 30.0h M Poe - 27.6h T Tribux - 25.4h M Vair - 24.5h K Rodian - 23.3h K Eventide - 20.1h T Crab - 14.4h M Voss- 14.3h M Teir - 9.1h M Vallin - 4.4h T Forrte - 0.5h They're posted monthly so there are similar tables for May 2017, June 2017 and so forth up to April 2026. Then there's a final column "ALLTIME" where I sum everything to the left except the columns with yearly sums. This works so far, but I'm wondering if there's a better approach that's gonna be more comfortable in the future if I want to extract more data. - Index Match or Xlookup to return sum of row values based on matching two horizontal lookups?Ask: If E59:S59=E111 AND E60:s:60<-E112, give me the sum of E61:71,else return 0 What is the smoothest formula for this? I added in what I'm trying to do on the formula line. ChatGPT is less helpful with this than I am. I want to bundle by phase because our timesheet system doesn't allow me to pull a report by phase/task, only by person. I tried Xlookup but kept getting SPILL errors so I am at a loss. FTE1 is a different category and should not be included (PM, I can plug that as it's always in the same position).
