I'm attempting to make a graph where the data is put up against the total number of the population, but only one bar ever works

Status Setup 7 Shipped/Received 7 Needs 50 Total 57 

So I have the above, I highlight setup through 57, and as you can see from the picture, I only get the first bar graph to work right. I...

  • right Click >> Select Data >> uncheck Total for horizontal
  • Add >> Series value >> click cell 57 for legend entree

Then I get this first thing. If I attempt to add anything else then everything just breaks. If I click on the top of the first bar, it will highlight the 57. If I click on any of the others, it will highlight Setup to Total in one color, and 7 - 57 in another.

Copilot kept telling me to do all this stuff that absolutely did not work, and following the first instructions from a search engine basically gave me the same steps I ended up doing.

Co-pilot wanted me to keep making "helper cells" where I made the data, but the fact is I already have those here.
