Find customer details instantly by searching a single tag

Are you tired of sifting through endless spreadsheets to find customer information?

If you have ever sat in front of a spreadsheet, knowing the data you need is buried somewhere in a distant sheet, you understand the frustration in that post. The user wants a simple thing: type a single tag on the first page, and have the customer's name, address, phone number, and website appear instantly. That is not a luxury. It is the baseline of what a modern data tool should do. The fact that someone has to ask for a workaround, or hunt for a video tutorial, tells you everything about how far traditional spreadsheets have fallen behind.

The request itself is straightforward. A lookup. A search module. Yet in a conventional spreadsheet, this requires a nest of functions, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, or XLOOKUP, each with its own quirks about column order and exact matches. Even then, pulling multiple fields into separate cells demands either multiple formulas or a helper column. The user is not asking for something exotic. They are asking for their tool to meet them halfway. When the tool cannot, the burden shifts entirely to the user, who must become a part-time programmer just to retrieve their own information.

This is where an AI-native approach changes the equation. Instead of wiring up formulas, you describe what you want. "Show me the customer details for this tag." The system understands the relationship between the tag on Sheet #3 and the fields you want on Page 1. It handles the mapping. It returns the result. No tutorials required. No debugging a formula that broke because a column moved. The technology exists to let people work with data the way they think about it, by meaning, not by cell coordinates.

The practical takeaway is this: if you find yourself writing a Reddit post about how to search a table, you are using the wrong tool for the job. A spreadsheet should not make you feel like you are the one doing the heavy lifting. Look for solutions that let you ask for what you need, not ones that force you to build the bridge yourself. The user in that post deserves a tool that responds to a tag with all the customer details, instantly, without a manual. That is not the future. It is the present, and it is already available.

I have a table on Sheet #3 with customers name, tag, address, contact 1, phone number 1, website etc. I want to create a search module on first page that if i inset the tag it shows all these contacts on page one in different cells. Is there a way to do that? or a video tutorial? I was not able to find anything.
