Pdf en excel : solution ?
Our take
Transforming PDF invoices into an Excel format can be a challenge, especially with lengthy documents lacking structured tables. While Adobe Acrobat Pro offers powerful tools, extracting data from non-table formats requires specific techniques. By leveraging the right features in Acrobat, you can convert your invoices into a more manageable spreadsheet format. This process not only simplifies your data handling but also empowers you to analyze and utilize your invoice information effectively. Let’s explore the best methods to navigate this task and streamline your workflow.
Hello, I have several PDF invoices that I'd like to process using a spreadsheet. I can't find an easy way to convert the PDFs to Excel. The invoices can be up to 80 pages long and include equipment numbers, serial numbers, and either a fixed rental cost or a cost per page (they're printer invoices). I have Adobe Acrobat Pro, but I don't see how I can use it to solve this problem. Is there a way to work with Excel? The invoice data isn't in a table format.
Thank you.

- What is your actual workflow for getting PDF data into Excel cleanly when formats vary across files?I work with invoices and reports from multiple vendors and the PDF formats are all different. Some import into Excel reasonably well through Power Query but others come through as jumbled text with no consistent structure to parse. The process is really repititive and takes up a lot of time which adds more pressure when I've got deadlines. I need advice on how I can parse information into excel seamlessly from a PDF file.
