If you've ever managed a workbook with dozens, let alone hundreds, of sheets, you know the exact frustration captured in that video. One click to select the next tab, and suddenly you're staring at the beginning of the list again. It's not a minor inconvenience; it's a genuine productivity killer. The user who posted this isn't asking for a miracle. They're asking for a basic expectation: that navigation shouldn't undo your place in a large, complex project.

This is where the conversation about smarter tools needs to start. The problem isn't that spreadsheets are too big. The problem is that the interface for moving through them hasn't kept pace with how people actually work. When you're managing 200 sheets, the last thing you need is a system that resets your view every time you make a selection. It's not about learning a new workflow or memorizing shortcuts. It's about having a tool that respects your time and your place in the data.

What this moment reveals is a gap between raw capability and everyday usability. The data is all there, organized and ready, but the friction of getting to it becomes the bottleneck. For anyone who lives in spreadsheets, this isn't an abstract complaint. It's a daily reality that forces you to choose between efficiency and sanity. The good news is that this is exactly the kind of problem that an AI-native approach can address. Instead of forcing you to adapt to the tool's limitations, the tool can adapt to your context, remembering where you were, anticipating where you're going, and making the leap between sheets feel seamless rather than punitive.

The takeaway here isn't that one specific bug needs fixing. It's that the entire model of spreadsheet navigation deserves a rethink. If you're tired of fighting your own workbook, that's a sign to explore options that treat your data as a connected whole, not a stack of isolated tabs. The fix isn't just about saving a click. It's about building a workflow where the tool gets out of your way and lets you focus on the work itself. That's the standard we should expect, and it's the standard worth demanding.

In the attached video you can see that when I try to select the next sheet, it brings me all the way back to the beginning. This is especially annoying when trying to select 200+ sheets. Does anyone else have this issue or know of a fix?
